Timeless style, long coat in soft cream and brown British wool.

With large pockets, red merino wool under collar and pocket details and large cream shell buttons, this coat is perfect for perfect for Autumn and Spring.

Made in our Edinburgh studio, your new favourite coat is fully lined and made using natural fibres.

Made to Measure

All our coats are made to order so you can choose a standard size or give us your own unique measurements for the perfect fit.

Request sample fabric to check colour and feel before you order.

  • Soft cream and brown wool.
  • Flattering mid thigh length in a light to medium weight.
  • Red merino wool undercollar and pocket edge.
  • Fully lined. The natural lining fabric works with the wool to give breathability, collecting and releasing air, to regulate your temperature.
  • Extra large front side pockets.
  • Large, cream shell buttons.

    • The fleece comes from sheep in Romney, Kent. It is spun into yarn in Yorkshire and woven into this very special fabric back in Romney. The coat is designed and made in our Edinburgh studio.

    While much of the global wool trade now comes from overseas, Romney Tweed is a social enterprise weaving local wool and creating economic prosperity in a traditional wool trading area of the UK.

    All of our coats are made to last and come with our lifetime repair service.


    In addition, we’ve left extra seam allowance in this coat so you adjust the size over time.

    The coat is made with natural fibres so is biodegradable.

    We haven't used any fabric blends so it's easier to recycle, reducing the cost of the recycled fabric.


    Coat Fabric: 100% Wool. A natural fibre, it can also be respun and reused

    Lining: 100% Cupro. A natural fibre, collected as waste in the production of cotton.

    Buttons: Natural river shell. If you decide you are ready to part with your coat, you are also very welcome to send the buttons back to us and we'll use them again.

    Interfacing: Added to increase durability. Natural fibres used where available, synthetics 65% recycled polyester.

    • If you are ordering as a gift, you can order a gift card, and let your recipient enter their measurements in their own time.

    Your coat will be made specifically for you. So if you do need any specific customisations, please do contact us and we'll be happy to help make sure your coat is perfect for you. For example, if you want your coat to be a bit warmer, we can add an extra layer or give you a higher collar.

    Dry Clean

    Your coat will be made in our studio within 10 days. Delivery is free and usually takes 3-4 working days.

    We offer free UK returns. We’d love you to use our free Test The Fabric service, allowing you to see and feel the fabric of your garment before you order.
